MOLNIT® Ag is an inorganic compound, chemically known as Silver Nitrate (AgNO3). It appears as a white to almost white crystalline powder or transparent, colorless crystals. It is extensively used in pharmaceutical and medical applications for its antimicrobial, cauterizing and astringent properties.

Application: MOLNIT® Ag is widely used as an antimicrobial and cauterizing agent in topical preparations, surgical applications and dermatological formulations. It has also been historically used in ophthalmic solutions (e.g., 1% silver nitrate drops) to prevent neonatal conjunctivitis caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

PACKAGING

MOLNIT® Ag is packed in an HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in tight, light-resistant containers.
